Bayou Bakery Hosts Toy Drive Wednesday

Toys collected will be donated to children in New Jersey.

The Courthouse area’s Bayou Bakery will host a toy drive Wednesday to help the children in the Atlantic City area affected by Hurricane Sandy.

“Being from New Orleans, I personally understand the effects of hurricanes on communities,” Bayou Bakery Chef David Guas stated in a news release.

The bakery will give chocolate peanut sandies to anyone who comes in with a toy to donate. The bakery is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 1515 N. Courthouse Road.
