Voting for pets to be included in the annual calendar continues until 6 p.m. on Sept. 14. The photo with the most votes will be on the cover of the 2013 calendar, and the top 12 photos will be featured inside.
More than 30 pets are currently in the running, with senior dog “Rocky” in the lead having raised $650 with 13 votes. Lil'Bn, a bunny, is still a contender with $525 raised.
Submitting a photo is free. The money is raised from the donations the photo receives, with $1 donated to the page equaling one vote. All proceeds benefit the non-profit shelter. Pets must have been adopted from the shelter in order to be eligible.
