Space is still available in the week-long Long Form Improv class from Teens and Theatre (a 501c3 nonprofit organization).
Less well-known than the "theater sports" style short form improv, in Long Form Improv the performers create related scenes that become an entire play. Think "Second City"! The "father of long form improv" is considered to be Del Close of "Saturday Night Live," who authored the book "Truth in Comedy."
Join us for a fun, affordable week of creativity! Mention the Patch when you sign up, to receive a 20% discount (bringing the cost to only $240 for the week).
All camps are held at The Comedy Spot on the third floor of Ballston Common Mall, 4238 Wilson Blvd., in Arlington, Virginia. The mall is walking distance from the Ballston Metro station on the Orange line. Inexpensive garage parking adjoins the mall.
Camp forms are available on our website, www.teensandtheatre.org.
We also still have openings in our Teen Master Class!
