Pay more attention to infrastructure, like crumbling roads and bad intersections. When I moved back here after living 20+ years in Fairfax County, I couldn't believe how bad things are.

Increase affordable housing and continue with efforts to house the chronically homeless

Re-design the Fashion Mall intersection at 15th + Hayes. This is an area of extremely heavy pedestrian traffic, and the intersection confuses drivers.
Also, slow down traffic on Hayes near the fire station and park!

Im with Caroline, apartments in Arlington are sky high for the regular joe working stiff. Unless something changes soon in 20 years all the people who serve your meals cut your grass, paint your house, so on so on. The labor force will migrate in and out each night tying up the roads even worse and making Arlington one giant elitist neighborhood.
