Why Go: Join the celebration of the Rosslyn Business Improvement District's first two temporary public art projects — the Artisphere Yarn Bomb and "All Aflutter," Rachel Hayes’ fiber art installations on four Rosslyn walkways. 4. 2013 Georgetown Garden Tour
When/Where: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, start at Christ Church, 31st and O Streets NW in Washington.
Why Go: Celebrating its 85th year, the Georgetown Garden Tour is a Georgetown tradition. Thanks to the Georgetown Garden Club, visitors have the chance to explore Georgetown's private gardens and hidden landscapes.

When/Where: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at participating embassies. The Royal Netherlands Embassy is located at 4200 Linnean Ave. NW in Washington.
Why Go: Participating EU countries open their embassies or residences for guests to explore and learn more about each country's unique culture. For the first time, the Royal Netherlands Embassy will open its doors; previously only the residence of the Dutch Ambassador was open to the public.
