Why Go: This summer's film festival features a movie each week starring Saturday Night Live! actors and alumni. This week's film is "Trading Places," starring Eddie Murphy. The movie is rated "R." Why Go: Sommelier Kathy Morgan will be guiding the class through "Big Reds" on Saturday - the last of a five-part series. Even if you missed the first four, though, the class is open to all.
Pricing: The price of a single-session class is $100.
4. "Wicked" at The Kennedy Center
Where/When: The Kennedy Center, 2700 F St., NW, Washington. Saturday, 1:30 p.m. Sunday, 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: You don't have to head to New York City to catch one of the past decade's most popular Broadway shows. "Wicked" is returning to Washington and tickets are selling out fast. Treat yourself to a night out on the town - you can even pretend you're strolling down the Great White Way!
Pricing: Tickets range in price from $37 to $250.
5. Washington Nationals vs. Baltimore Orioles
Where/When: Nationals Park, 1500 South Capitol St., SE, Washington. Friday, 7:05 p.m. Saturday, 1:05 p.m. Sunday, 1:35 p.m.
Why Go: So you missed the boat on U.S. Open tickets and the performance of "Wicked" that you wanted to catch is already sold-out. Why not spend some time outdoors at the ballpark? Better yet, treat dad - after all, it is Father's Day on Sunday!
