Here's a look at what's happening this weekend - and we're keeping our fingers crossed that the sun makes a lengthy appearance sometime soon.

Find out what's happening in Clarendon-Courthouse-Rosslynwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Where/When: N. Stuart Street and Wilson Boulevard, Ballston. Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

Why Go: More than 40 Arlington restaurants will be offering up foodie fare at this event. You can also expect live entertainment and lots of family-friendly activities.

Where/When: , 1644 31st St. NW, Georgetown. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: Tudor Place is going to be celebrity central on Saturday morning with stars including Claire Shipman, Jay Carney, Mariska Hargitay and George Stephanopoulos stopping by to support this D.C.-based nonprofit that seeks to provide "our Nation's Capitol's infants and children in need with essential clothing and gear."

Pricing: Tickets for adults are $50, children over 2 years old are $25.

Where/When: , 1911 Fort Myer Dr., Arlington. Friday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: This week will feature "Vacation," rated R, with SNL veteran Chevy Chase. And, Patch found out this week that dogs are allowed at the film festival, as long as they remain on a leash.

Pricing: Free.

Where/When: 1216 18th St. NW, Dupont Circle. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. the remainder of the week.

Why Go: Shake Shack came to the national's capital this week, in case you didn't notice. If you love burgers, if you love fries, you need to give Shake Shack a try. Take it from someone who recently moved from New York, the hype isn't overblown.

Pricing: Menu items vary.

Where/When: , 1101 Wilson Blvd., Arlington. On display daily through July 17. The opening reception in May 19, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Why Go: If you're in the mood for something a little more artsy, visit this new exhibit at Artisphere. According to the Artisphere website, it "was conceived to take stock of the ways in which concerns around sustainability are being articulated and visualized by contemporary artists today."
