Street Sweeping Schedule: Arlington's expanded street sweeping service is under way. About 814 miles are swept countywide in Arlington's 59 civic associations. Sweepers hit six associations Monday. Today, they will sweep the Claremont, Columbia Forest, Douglas Park and Fairlington neighborhoods. Residents in affected areas are asked to move their cars to a driveway, garage or street outside of the sweeping zone.
