Pippi in America is an almost acoustic performance where the musicians combine well known Swedish children’s songs in jazz stylings with beloved characters such as Pippi Longstocking. Sweden’s Sarah Riedel is a characteristic, thought-provoking, elegant and emotional jazz vocalist who was nominated in 2010 and 2011 for the Swedish Radio Corporation's prestigious Jazzkatten Award.
