It’s Carnival time on the corner of 15th and North Courthouse Road and it will be “Arlington’s Largest Party” to hit the streets this year as we are blocking off the street to let more people get in on the fun. Bayou Bakery is giving you your marching orders to head over for an outrageously good spectacle of parade food and blow-out drinks for one night only. Krewe of Roux dishes will be from Boiled Crawfish, Raw Oysters Shucked to Order, Muff-a-lotta’s, Jambalaya, Gumbo, Colorful Mardi Gras beads, Masks and Shoe Box Floats will be there to catch ‘em if you can. In the Carnival spirit anything goes, so put on your Academy Awarding costumes with all the feathers, sequins and glitter galore. The first annual Block Party event kicks off at 5pm.
