Lime Fresh Mexican Grill in Clarendon Closes

What would you want to see take the place of the recently closed Lime Fresh Mexican Grill in Clarendon?

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill’s location in Clarendon has closed.

Ruby Tuesday, Inc., the company that owns the Lime Fresh chain, announced last week that they would be closing two Lime Fresh locations in the nation, one of which was the restaurant on 2900 Wilson Boulevard.

In a statement about the restaurant’s latest earnings report, J.J. Buettgen, president and CEO of Ruby Tuesday, said that the Clarendon location was “determined to be outside our updated site selection criteria for the concept.”

The statement also said that employees at the location may be offered jobs at other Lime Fresh or Ruby Tuesday locations.

Lime Fresh’s other Arlington site in Pentagon Row, which opened in 2012, is still open.

What would you like to see take Lime Fresh’s place? Twitter user @dpmckenzie suggested District Taco take its place. What do you think?
