Hockey 'n Heels Event Draws Caps Fans to Ballston

The event this week drew 200 to Ballston's Kettler Capitals Iceplex.

The Washington Capitals hosted Hockey ‘n Heels this week, an event for female fans that drew more then 200 women to the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Ballston. 

The event sold out in 24 hours, according to a news release from the Capitals.

Fans engaged in five sessions, including two on-ice sessions with forwards Joey Crabb and Wojtek Wolski. Attendees also had the opportunity to take a photo with forward Jay Beagle during the Monday event.

The event is open to members of Club Scarlet, a fan club for women Capitals fans.
