Meet Harlem Globetrotter

Two Harlem Globetrotters dribbled and spun their way across the Key Bridge in Rosslyn on Wednesday as a cluster of fans looked on.

“Half of our office is here,” said Hilary Smith, who went to see the players cross the bridge on a break from her Rosslyn office. “It’s a great way to see them.”

The Globetrotters made the trek across the bridge as part of Globetrotter Week in Washington. Mighty Mitchell and Flight Time Lang participated.

“This is my second time doing it,” Lang said. “Hopefully the ball won’t go into the water.”

The players headed across the bridge to the Holy Trinity School in Georgetown for a pep rally, where they were scheduled to talk with students about the ABCs of Bullying Prevention program.
