Greener Cleaner Claims 'Heart of Del Ray'

Greener Cleaner of Del Ray, which also has a location in Clarendon, recently claimed the 'Heart of Delray' award after more than 550 people placed votes on the Del Ray Business Association website.
Their other location in Clarendon is on 3101 Wilson Blvd.
The heart is presented annually by the DRBA around Valentine's Day to the business that best demonstrates a warm and welcoming attitude to customers, shows generosity and commitment to the community and contributes to making Del Ray a great place to live, work and shop.
“We’re happy to have it,” said owner Serdar Basegmez, who opened his drycleaners four years ago. “We’re going to continue giving back to the community. It’s always our pleasure to be part of the neighborhood.”
Caboose Cafe and Bakery, Pork Barrel BBQ and Holy Cow, St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub and Taqueria Poblano were the other nominees for this year’s award.
Other past winners include A Show of Hands and local realtors Jen Walker and Bobi Bomar.
