Get Out: Patch's Pick-and-Choose Weekend Planner
Looking for ways to make your weekend "magical?" We've got a few ideas for you.
Where/When: Theaters throughout the region will be debuting the film on Friday at 12:01 a.m.
Why Go: You may or may not have heard about this little movie premiering on Friday called "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2." As the billboards suggest, "It all ends" with this one, folks. You won't want to miss the mayhem.
Pricing: Ticket prices vary. Expect to pay more for tickets to 3D and Imax showtimes.
Where/When: The Kennedy Center, 2700 F St., NW, Washington. Friday, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Can't get your fill of witches and wizards this weekend? Check out Wicked at The Kennedy Center. Tickets to one of the most popular Broadway shows of the past decade will run you *slightly* more than tickets to the "Harry Potter" premier, but it'll still be less than a trip to the Big Apple!
Pricing: Tickets range in price from $37 to $250.
Where/When: Rosslyn Gateway, 1911 Fort Myer Dr. Arlington. Friday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: If you looking for something a little more wallet-friendly this weekend, how does free sound? The Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival will be featuring "Space Balls," starring John Candy this week. And - as a bonus - you are allowed to bring your own snacks, blankets and chairs to make your movie experience as memorable as possible!
Pricing: Free to attend.
Where/When: Wolf Trap Foundation, 1645 Trap Rd., Vienna. Friday, 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Why Go: If you've never made it out to Wolf Trap before, you should make a point to put it on your calendar this summer. The venue is beautiful and it's a perfect way to spend a summer evening outdoors.
Pricing: Tickets range in price from $20 to $80.
Where/When: Nectar Skin Bar, 1633 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Georgetown. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: If you've been looking for a way to pamper yourself, but aren't sure how much to spend or where to start, head on over to Nectar Skin Bar in Georgetown on Saturday. This new skin spa will be offering complimentary "mini" services and "sippys while you're getting pampered."
Pricing: Free to attend. Prices for retails products and regular services vary.
