Why Go: This week, the film festival will feature "Happy Gilmore," starring funny man Adam Sandler. Bring blankets, snacks and your sense of humor!
Where/When: Bacchus Wine Cellar, 1635 Wisconsin Ave NW, Georgetown. Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: If you've been wanting to broaden your wine palate, but don't have the budget to indulge in multiple bottles, head on over Bacchus Wine Cellar on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown on Saturday. You can try up to 10 different wines for a mere $20. It's a neighborhood favorite.
Pricing: $20 to sample up to 10 different wines.
Where/When: Georgetown Waterfront Park, 3100 K St NW, Washington. Sunday, noon to 3 p.m.
Why Go: There will be food, music, face painting - fun for the whole family! And you definitely won't want to miss the Great Georgetown Water Balloon Toss at 2 p.m.!
