Election Guide: Democratic Caucus Continues Saturday for Arlington Board
Voting continues 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Kenmore Middle School.
Five Democrats are seeking their party’s nomination in a special election for the Arlington County Board.
The Arlington County Democratic Committee continues holding its caucus from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Kenmore Middle School, 200 S. Carlin Springs Road. The first ballots were cast in a two-hour span Thursday night. Votes will not be counted until Saturday night.
The caucus is open to all registered voters in Arlington County, though voters will be asked to declare themselves Democrats for the purposes of this caucus. Such a declaration will not impact a voter’s ability to vote in non-Democratic primaries later this year.

UPDATE: About 1,260 ballots were cast Thursday night, according to Arlington County Democratic Chairman Mike Lieberman.

For those interested in cycling issues, a local voter took it upon himself to ask the candidates about their views on cycling, and posted the answers here - http://bikearlingtonforum.com/showthread.php?1651-Arlington-County-Board-Elections

County Board Candidate Audrey Clement does not own a motor vehicle, bicycles year round, and takes public transit everywhere, often together with her bicycle. When do we get to read about her positions in Patch? Oh, I see, she's not a Democrat, so we may never get to read about her positions in Patch.

I'm sitting down with Audrey in early February. (We arranged it last week, I believe.) I also hope to sit down with Republican nominee Mark Kelly and anyone else who gets their paperwork in to the county in time to appear on the March 27 ballot.
