2013 Super Bowl: Where to Watch in Arlington, Virginia Players and More

Where to watch Super Bowl XLVII, when the Baltimore Ravens take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Arlington has plenty of sports bars with big screens and big specials for the big game.

The Baltimore Ravens Fan Group — Virginia DC Metro Chapter is watching Superbowl XLVII at Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, 4238 Wilson Blvd. (the Ballston Mall) in Arlington.

The Washington-area official 49ers fan Meetup group will most likely be watching at Town Tavern in Adams Morgan, 2323 18th Street NW, Washington.

For a more mixed crowd, try any of these (in no particular order):

Virginia Natives on the San Francisco 49ers

Ahmad Brooks is a linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers who had 50 tackles in 2011 and is on track to beat that this year. Before attending the University of Virginia, he attended C.D Hylton High School in Woodbridge and Hargrave Military Academy. (See Brooks’ bio here). He was born in Fairfax.

Joining Brooks is Cam Johnson, a rookie linebacker. He just moved to the active roster in late December, so he has only played in two games this season. He also attended the University of Virginia and went to Gonzaga College High School in Washington. (See Johnson’s bio here.)

Josh Morgan left the 49ers in March 2012 and is now a player for our Washington Redskins. He went to Woodson High School in the district and also played for Virginia Tech.

Virginia Players on the Baltimore Ravens

Quarterback Tyrod Taylor joined the Baltimore Ravens in 2011 after playing for the Denver Broncos. Taylor attended Virginia Tech and went to high school at Hampton High School in Hampton. (See Taylor’s bio here.)
